Eva Baird, User Experience Architect

GA peach living in Tucson. believes in the 4 food groups (chocolate, espresso, red wine, fruit). loves: glass casting, traveling to far off lands, birding, swimming in the ocean, and quiet days on the slopes.

Eva came to NewCity in 2006, fresh off of a stint working with major brands such as Canon, Sharp, T-Mobile, Verizon, Best Buy and Circuit City. She quickly proved herself to be an indispensible member of our team. So much so that we now have an unofficial NewCity West office, which is Eva’s home in Tucson, AZ. Eva continues to provide expert project planning and management, flash development, and user architecture work for many of our clients.

Like many New City Medians, Eva graduated from Virginia Tech, earning a BFA in Graphic Design in 2003. Outside of work, she enjoys snow skiing and birding – a hobby that has taken her to Costa Rica, Mexico and all over the U.S. Currently, Eva’s training for a 109-mile Century Ride around Tucson. We’re hoping she keeps up the training and builds to a daily commute from Tucson to Blacksburg.
