Nathan Francis, Project Manager

Husband, Father, Son, Giraffe. The Pediatrician once commented to his wife that their daughter was very tall. His wife responded, “her father is a giraffe”. Loves playing with his kids, audio books, and drinking coffee at all hours of the day.

Nathan’s detail-oriented personality gets put to good use at NewCity managing projects. Before coming to NewCity, Nathan was a project manager at a government hosting and development organization. Nathan provided program and project management for a large process improvement effort involving 11 teams executing 31 projects that were all successfully completed. The program stretched across the government organization to implement Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL). Not to be confused with “idle”.

Nathan also has learned the adventures of supporting over 60,000 government users by managing a customer support center. It all started at Virginia Tech where Nathan graduated Magna Cum Laude in Graphic Design from The College of Architecture and Urban Studies. Since then he has fallen in love with project management and completed a project management training program from the PMI standards.

When not managing something, Nathan always loves to learn something new from a good audio book.
