Jessica Catto

Jessica’s experience in both the non-profit and higher education space helps her bring quite a bit of empathy to the table when managing projects, making her a strong advocate for both her clients and her team.

She’s been through many website projects over the years, and has played several different roles along the way. In addition to managing digital projects, she has experience in UX, CMS administration, analytics, content strategy, and a bit of front-end development (just enough to be dangerous).

Jessica is a New Jersey native (with strong feelings about “good” pizza and bagels), but has lived up and down the east coast, and currently calls South Carolina home. Prior to joining NewCity, she was the Digital Manager for the University of South Florida’s University Communications and Marketing team, and prior to that she lived in Washington, DC, working with the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine. She has a BS in Biochemistry from Roanoke College, and an MS in Marketing from the University of South Florida.

Is collecting hobbies considered a hobby? Jessica thinks so. She’s always searching for new things to learn, build, or explore. Most recently, the list included building a 3-D printer, sailing, knitting socks, weaving, and hiking and camping around Upstate SC.
